About the Show

In Baltimore, Lilli Vanessi stars in a production of Taming of the Shrew directed by her husband Fred Graham. The two Broadway stars clash over Fred’s affair with fellow actor Lois Lane, who is engaged to Bill Calhoun, another member of the company. When Bill’s gambling debts get him in trouble with a local band of gangsters, the company is thrown into chaos.

HRG&SP’s Spring 2020 production of Kiss Me, Kate! was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the sudden closure of Harvard’s campus, the show was never fully staged, despite the many hours of work put in by dedicated cast, staff, and orchestra members.
